THE VIEW THAT DOES THE HEAVY LIFTING
At 4,900 feet, the house looks straight down a corridor of Blue Ridge ridgelines with nothing between you and the horizon — no rooftops, no power lines, no peek-a-boo through the trees. Every bedroom has the view. The kitchen sink has the view. Even the laundry room has the view. Sunrise turns the ridges pink. After dark, it's stars — there's a telescope by the great-room windows.
YOUR DAYS HERE
Mornings start slow: Nespresso, Keurig, or French press from the coffee bar, a robe from your closet, and coffee on the deck while the valley wakes up. Days are yours — downtown Boone is 10 minutes, three ski mountains are under 50, and Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway are close. Evenings are why you came: dinner for 10 at one table (nobody gets exiled to a kids' card table), the game-room tournament nobody planned — pool table, Ms. Pac-Man, NBA Jam, Golden Tee — then s'mores at the fire pit (kit provided) and the 7-person hot tub under string lights while the sky puts on its show. Four fireplaces mean there's always somewhere warm to end the night: gas in the family room, another in the game room, a wood-burning fireplace on the upper deck, and gas on the lower deck by the hot tub. With deck heaters overhead, the outdoor living rooms stay open for business even in January — fire, view, and TV, no coats required.

Every full bath has heated floors, a heated Toto washlet, and an oversized tiled shower. A powder bath sits off the dining room. Three couples plus kids, or grandparents plus two families — nobody compromises.

This isn't a rental that got furnished; it's a home that was designed — brand-new construction, professionally designed, opened 2024. Fully loaded kitchen with Bosch appliances and a stocked coffee bar. Robes in every closet, luggage racks in every room. 4K Roku TVs everywhere — including both decks. A downstairs wet bar with its own fridge and Keurig, so lower-floor early risers get coffee without the stairs. Level 2 EV charger. If you think of it mid-trip, we probably already did.

Poplar Peaks is a new private, gated community in Boone, NC. Located off Howard's Creek Road, the community is close to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk.
Being a new community, some houses are under construction.
Poplar Forest features high elevations. Please ensure in the winter that you have either 4-wheel drive or snow chains on your tires. We recommend that you acquire travel insurance prior to your trip as we cannot be responsible for weather!
Primary renter must be 25 years of age to book. Persons under the age of 25 are permitted provided someone over the age of 25 is the responsible party and stays on site at all times.
A Rental Agreement may be sent for signature prior to staying.
Poplar Peaks is in a growing neighborhood and construction of other houses may be ongoing during your stay.
