The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, 4 bedrooms (3-King/4-Twins), and 4 full bathrooms (heated floors and toilets), plus a game room with a pool table and arcade games.

 

With four fireplaces, fire pit, and hot tub, Poplar Peaks is perfect for a multi-family getaway or a relaxing escape for couples.

Poplar Peaks is a new private, gated community in Boone, NC. Located off Howard's Creek Road, the community is close to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk.

 

Being a new community, some houses are under construction.

 

Poplar Forest features high elevations. Please ensure in the winter that you have either 4-wheel drive or snow chains on your tires. We recommend that you acquire travel insurance prior to your trip as we cannot be responsible for weather!

 

Primary renter must be 25 years of age to book. Persons under the age of 25 are permitted provided someone over the age of 25 is the responsible party and stays on site at all times.

 

A Rental Agreement may be sent for signature prior to staying.

 

Poplar Peaks is in a growing neighborhood and construction of other houses may be ongoing during your stay.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. Every detail was thought of and many items that were helpful for our stay were provided. This felt like a very high end resort. Location was great too, we could drive to sugar mountain and hawksnest for snow-tubing easily. Downtown Boone was wonderful for dinners. We loved the heated floors and toilet seats. Towels were HUGE. Like I said every detail was incredible, I could go on and on… best Airbnb I’ve ever rented.

We absolutely had the best time ever!! We got snowed in for a day and we had the best time ever…there was even a sled! The cabin was amazing inside and out. The kitchen was fantastic and had everything you would need to cook a nice meal. The heated toilet seats and heated bathroom floors were the most perfect perk, esp since we had snow for 2 day's! We will definitely be staying here again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

The communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. Bedding and appliances were top-shelf. The EV charger was very convenient. The house and view are stunning. This house has everything you could want for a mountain getaway. You get so lost in the view and remote location that you almost forget Boone is 10 minutes away. Poplar Peaks was absolutely amazing! The house was immaculate and had everything you could need. The views were spectacular! We could have spent our entire vacation on the back deck. Our family loved the downstairs game room and s’mores kit that was so generously left. We have stayed at several rentals in the past, but this one is by far the best. I have never stayed at a rental where I felt so at home. I have very high expectations when it comes to cleanliness and Poplar Peaks exceeded my expectations. Erin was an excellent hostess! She was super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

If I could give Erin and her stunning mountain home more than five stars I would. The communication was effortless and friendly. As an architect myself, their newly built home is beautiful and a 10 out of 10 in my book - literally no notes. And then we come to the views and untouched nature the home is nestled in. Truly amazing. This long weekend surpassed all expectations. On top of all of this, we had an minor unexpected issue come up during our stay. Erin and her husband proactively contacted us and quickly got things squared away as if it never happened. Needless to say, I cannot wait for a return visit to Erin’s mountain getaway soon! 🌲🏠❤️

Our stay was incredible! From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by not only the views, but the accommodations. The home is exquisite, with gorgeous views from every room you go in, and Erin has gone above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable, from providing the ingredients for s'mores, to games, local decor, endless pillows, blankets, and plugs (so nice to not have to worry about where to plug something in!), to plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, toiletries--she's taken care of it. The hot tub was great, even though we stayed during a heat wave, and the fireplaces were perfectly cozy without being too hot in the summer. The location is close enough to Boone and other nearby sights but far enough away to truly feel like you're secluded and able to enjoy the idyllic scenery. This house is such a vacation in and of itself, that you don't even feel like leaving. Can't wait to go back!

Truly Bearadise! An Unforgettable Mountain Escape Our stay at "It's Bearadise!" was phenomenal, exceeding expectations! The breathtaking panoramic views from the cabin and the mountain-facing hot tub were truly captivating. The cabin itself is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. We loved the stone fireplaces, the outdoor fire pit (firewood provided!), and the game room which offered endless entertainment and family battles. Erin is an exceptional Superhost; communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The cabin was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The location, while private, is conveniently close to Blowing Rock where we enjoyed various outdoor activities. This home and property is amazing. The owners have furnished and accessorized the place beyond any guest expectations. From the coffee/tea/hot chocolate station to the towel holder (and towels) next to the hot tub, you cannot beat this experience. Beds were super comfortable, linens plentiful and blankets abound. Guide of the house amenities and area recommendations is so helpful. The view is remarkable from almost every window and direction. If you are looking for a luxurious peace haven, you will love it! Wow-just wow! I couldn't be more impressed with this amazing Airbnb stay. Not only is the house beautiful and incredibly spacious, but the attention to detail truly sets it apart. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided-from a fully equipped kitchen with every appliance you can imagine, to the little touches like a variety of coffee, tea, and sugar options, as well as dental floss, multiple irons, and a wide selection of board games. Cozy fuzzy blankets are also placed around the house, perfect for snuggling up on chilly evenings. The views from the patio are absolutely stunning, and the home is located in a secure, gated community that made us feel very safe. The peaceful roads around the area are ideal for morning walks or runs. I've traveled quite a bit and stayed at many different Airbbs, but this one truly stood out. I'm already looking forward to booking it again, and I'll definitely be recommending it to all my friends!
